Cowboys defeat Chiefs in overtime 26-20; fans try to get Atlanta tickets after bye week

Tony Romo had a solid performance in Sunday’s 26-20 overtime victory on the road in Kansas City completing 20 of 34 for 351 yards with two touchdowns. But it was the one who hauled in those two touchdowns, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin making his first-ever career start, who stole the show and pleased Cowboys tickets holders more than any other player with a record-setting performance.

Cowboys fans look for Chiefs tickets after 17-10 loss in Denver

The Dallas Cowboys offense is officially struggling. In the last two games the offense has managed to score just 20 points including the 10 points in a 17-10 loss to the Denver Broncos at Invesco Field in front of 76,440 Broncos tickets holders.

Dallas quarterback Tony Romo and the offense didn’t appear to be struggling to start the contest in front of Broncos fans and those sitting in the Cowboys cheap seats. In fact, Dallas scored on two of its first three opportunities with the ball. The first coming at the midway point of the first quarter on a 49-yard Nick Folk field goal, the capper on an eight-play, 38-yard drive.

Cowboys tickets holders see sluggish 21-7 Dallas win

Cowboys tickets are still hot tickets, just not as hot as the first game. Still, an impressive crowd of  90,000, a $1 billion state-of-the-art stadium, and all the football world watching isn’t inspiration enough—at least not for a half. That was exactly the case for the Dallas Cowboys offense on Monday night who failed to score in the first half against the Carolina Panthers and had to rely on a defensive score in the second half to pull off the 21-7 victory.

Lethargic is too kind a description. Those who held Dallas Cowboys Stadium tickets had a few choice words of their own.

Giants at Dallas Recap

For Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, it was exactly the game he dreamed it would be, with just one exception the ending. In a classic battle of two NFC East powers, the New York Giants spoiled the grand opening of the spectacular Cowboys Stadium as a record-crowd of 105,121 watched Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes convert a 37-yard field goal as time expired for a 33-31 victory on Sunday night.

Cowboys-Bucs Recap

When wide receiver Terrell Owners left Dallas for the Buffalo Bills this off-season, a debate ensued among Cowboy fans. On Sunday at Tampa Bay, early returns indicate any concerns were unfounded as quarterback Tony Romo threw touchdowns to three different receiversóMiles Austin, Patrick Crayton, and Roy Williamsóand a career-high 353 yards in a season-opening 34-21 win.

After the Bucs took a 7-6 lead in the second quarter, Romo delivered a pass to the back shoulder of Austin. After making the catch, the speedy third-year receiver broke a tackle then made a great stutter-step move to elude one Buccaneer tackler en route to a 42-yard touchdown and a 13-7 lead going into halftime.
